Privacy Policy

Effective October 21, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how AILABIKA SL (VAT ESB56298987, C/ Laguna, 11, 03184 Torrevieja, Alicante, Spain; "Remendia", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use https://remendia.com (the "Site"). We are the data controller. The Site is offered in English to visitors in the United States and is intended for adults aged 18 and over; our servers and providers are located in the United States.

What we collect

• Information you give us: the project descriptions, measurements, budgets and messages you type into the assistant, product searches, saved products and reading lists.
• Device and usage information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location derived from IP, referring URL and campaign parameters (such as utm_* tags and advertising click identifiers), and interactions with sponsored content.
• Identifiers: a randomly generated session cookie that links your projects to your browser, and analytics identifiers set by our analytics provider.
• We do not ask for your name, email address, payment details or account credentials. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (see Children).

How we use information

• To provide the Site: build and save project plans, run product searches, remember your projects in this browser.
• To generate assistant answers and shopping lists. Project context and your messages are sent to OpenAI, L.L.C. as our processor; we do not permit them to train models on this data.
• To find and show sponsored offers, stores and coupons through our advertising partner Zyntent, including measuring impressions and clicks.
• To understand how the Site is used and to improve it (analytics, session replay, performance monitoring) through PostHog, Inc.
• To measure advertising campaigns that bring visitors to the Site and the revenue those visits generate, so we can decide where to advertise.
• To enforce usage limits, prevent abuse and comply with law.

How we share information

• Service providers acting on our instructions: hosting (DigitalOcean), AI processing (OpenAI), analytics (PostHog). They may only use the information to provide services to us.
• Advertising partner: when you click a sponsored link you are redirected to the merchant through Zyntent's tracking link. We pass a click identifier, a campaign label and a placement name so the partner can report commissions back to us. The merchant and the partner receive your IP address and browser information as part of the redirect and are governed by their own privacy policies.
• Legal and safety: to comply with law, enforce our terms or protect rights, property or safety.
• Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
• We do not sell personal information for money. Passing click and campaign identifiers to our advertising partner and receiving third-party analytics cookies may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or "targeted advertising" under some state laws. You can opt out at any time; see Your privacy choices.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a strictly necessary session cookie (remendia_session) to keep your projects, local storage for your reading list and recently shown offers, and analytics cookies and local storage set by PostHog to recognise your browser across visits, measure campaigns and record session replays. Sponsored content from Zyntent may set its own cookies when loaded or clicked. You can delete cookies in your browser at any time; deleting the session cookie removes access to the projects saved in that browser.

Your privacy choices

• Opt out of sharing/targeted advertising and analytics: use the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer or visit /do-not-sell. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out request for that browser.
• Access, export and deletion: open "Privacy & your data" in the footer to download everything linked to this browser or to delete it permanently. Because we hold no account details, these tools work for the browser that holds the session cookie; for other requests email us.
• Correction: edit your project details directly in the Site.
• Appeals and questions: email retuames@gmail.com. We respond within 45 days as required by applicable state law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
• Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with proof of authorization.

Legal bases (GDPR)

Because we are established in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation applies to our processing wherever you are. We rely on: performance of a contract/provision of the service you request (saving projects, running the assistant and product search); your consent for analytics cookies, session replay and advertising measurement (you can withdraw it at any time via "Your Privacy Choices"); and our legitimate interests in securing the Site, preventing abuse, measuring the advertising we buy and earning commissions that keep the Site free, balanced against your rights. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, request restriction or portability, and lodge a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es) or your local authority. Transfers to our US providers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified and otherwise on Standard Contractual Clauses.

State privacy notices (United States)

California (CCPA/CPRA): in the last 12 months we collected the categories of personal information listed above (identifiers, internet activity, approximate geolocation, inferences such as project interests) for the purposes described. We disclosed identifiers and internet activity to service providers and "shared" click, campaign and analytics identifiers with our advertising and analytics partners. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states with comprehensive privacy laws: you have the rights to access, delete, correct, obtain a copy, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale and profiling as described above.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact retuames@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Retention

Inactive browser sessions and their events are deleted after 90 days. Cached offers and relevance checks are kept up to 30 days. Aggregate usage accounting is kept without browser identity. Analytics data is retained by PostHog according to our project settings (currently 12 months for events and 30 days for session replays).

Security and international transfers

We use HTTPS, access controls and least-privilege keys. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. Our providers process data in the United States.
